Partial Extraction Therapy
The PET Kit is designed to make Partial Extraction Therapy techniques—including Socket Shield, Root Submergence, and Pontic Shield—more accessible and predictable. Developed through research on clinical complications, the kit standardizes the procedure with a step-by-step approach.
Developed in collaboration with Dr. Howard Gluckman to make the Partial Extraction Therapy Techniques more achievable. The step by step process helps to standardize the procedure and enable faster, more predictable results.
Kit Components are specificaly designed to facilitate partial extraction therapy techniques
Lance Drill
Used initially to drill up to the apex of the root. Depth stopper is used to set the length of the lance drill to prevent overdrilling.
Lindermann Drill
Used to fragment the tooth by moving from the mesial side to distal side in a sweeping motion.
Line runs from the mesial line angle to the distal line angle.
Round Diamond Bur
Used to remove the root apex and any gutta percha material present in the apical portion of the socket.
Finishing Diamond Bur
Used to smooth out and shape the shield.
Final Shaper
Used in the reduction of the coronal portion of the shield.
Guided Drill
Used to prepare the chamfer to the correct depth. By doing so, it allows space for the soft tissue to grow between the shield and implant.
