In 2012, we introduced the AnyRidge Implant System to the UK—a bold step that proved transformative and set new standards in implantology. Dima has been with MegaGen for most of his professional life. He began his journey with the company in Romania in 2007 and relocated to the UK in 2011 to lead local operations. Outside of work, Dima is a man of many interests. Reading, music, and fitness are part of his daily routine, while photography is a passion he pursues with dedication—especially during holidays. He also enjoys freediving, spearfishing, mountaineering, and exploring new cultures. These passions are shared with his wonderful wife and their two sons, making every adventure a family affair.

Rhoda is the operational heart of Megagen UK, holding the business together and keeping things moving — no small feat in a company like ours. With us since 2007, she's our longest-serving team member and brings a depth of knowledge that's simply irreplaceable. Before joining Megagen, Rhoda worked as an implant nurse, so she understands our world from the clinical side too — a perspective that goes far beyond most operations roles. Outside of work, Rhoda is happiest on a Norfolk beach, wine in hand, dogs at her feet. A devoted animal lover, she has a particular soft spot for rescues — and a remarkable habit of giving them exactly the home they deserve.

I've been placing and restoring dental implants since 1991. I've only ever used four implant systems in that time. In a high-end private practice, predictability and reliability is paramount so I choose my implant system and by extension my supporting implant company with great care and diligence.

I had the pleasure of meeting Megagen's visionary founder and CEO Dr Kwang Bum Park in 2011. It is not often that a CEO is humble enough to make the trip halfway across the world together with his continental and national representative to visit clinicians in their own practices to really understand what they want.

I had been using my previous implant system for 11 years. However, when Dr Park showed me Megagen AnyRidge, it gradually dawned on me that the design of this implant system had advantages not previously available. I tentatively started to use this system, on easy cases, where any unforeseen failures because of an unfamiliar system might be easy to rectify. I needn't have worried. Megagen AnyRidge has been without doubt the most powerful workhorse of implant dentistry in my practice, providing hundreds of my patients with a superb quality of product that is very easy to use, provides excellent long-term biologic and restorative stability and does indeed cater to almost every anatomical variation - AnyRidge was very well named.

With the added technology of R2Gate and guided surgery (thank you JC Kim and his team), implant dentistry has become simply the most predictable and highly successful treatment modality in our practice. Complications are few and far between and I have come to rely utterly on this system which I am sure we'll see me and my patients out until retirement. Even my laboratory loves it!

As well as creating a superb implant system, Dr Park has also successfully retained a superb and supportive team around him. The same representatives that attended with him in 2011 are still there and I'm deeply grateful to Sian Matthews and Dima Corduneanu as well as their friendly and long-standing UK team, Abdul, Alga, Charlotte and Janice for their warm and unstinting support over the last 14 years and to Akshay Patel at the R2Gate studio for utterly changing my life and making implant dentistry so incredibly straightforward and rewarding.

I have routinely used 2 or 3 different implant brands and designs in my practice to cater for the specific case in hand. Some were better for the aesthetic zone, others were better for full arch cases, while some were better designed for posterior teeth and overdentures. The downsides to this are the inventory we had to keep in stock were huge. Megagen's Anyridge implant system is a true breakthrough in design on a macro, micro and nano level that it simply caters for EVERY case. I get excellent primary stability in virtually all situations and bone types, whether in immediate extraction, grafted or soft bone so I’m able to immediately load most cases. For me, Anyridge is the only system I’ve ever used that ticks all the boxes.
