Autogeneous Bone Harvester
It features a unique blade design for harvesting bone at low speeds, a wide opening for easy removal of the collected bone, and a special sliding stopper for controlled drilling depth. This device aims to simplify the process of obtaining autogenous bone
Design Concept
Easy and Fast Operation
- Sufficient cutting force can be obtained even at low RPM.
- Autogenous bone can be harvested within 10 seconds.
- Amount of bone harvested can be equivalent to the size of each AutoMax™.
- Enables quick, easy bone harvesting in a single procedure.
- It can be cleaned thoroughly as the Stopper is easily disconnectable.
- V shaped opening completely prevents bone chips from splattering during drilling.
- May be used in any type of bone with excellent durability.
AutoMax™ burs are available in a range of sizes to ensure precision and versatility for every procedure.
The AutoMax™ bur is used together with the contra-angle handpiece of the surgical motor.

Step by Step
1. Connect the AutoMax™ to the handpiece and secure the stopper in position.
2. Ensure the AutoMax™ is aligned perpendicular to the bone surface. Apply light pressure to engage the drill tip, then start drilling at 300–500 rpm with ample irrigation.
3. Avoid pumping movements during harvesting, as these may cause the harvested bone to disperse.
4. The AutoMax™ stops automatically when a drilling depth of 4 mm is reached.
5. Detach the stopper, then collect the harvested particulate autogenous bone in a sterile tray. Repeat steps 1–5 until sufficient bone has been obtained.
6. Use a fresh harvesting site each time, ensuring there is no overlap with previous donor areas.
