Dr. Christian Makary
Prof. Christian Makary was born in Lebanon in 1969. He graduated as a doctor of dental surgery in 1993 from the Saint Joseph University of Beirut in Lebanon. He holds a Certificate of Oral Surgery from Paris VII University, a University Diploma in Oral Implantology from Bordeaux II University and a University Diploma in Oral pathology from Paris VI University in France.
He also holds a Masters in Science and a PhD in oral biology from the Saint Joseph University of Beirut in Lebanon. He was the former chairperson and is currently an Associate Professor and the Director of postgraduate program at the Oral surgery department of the Faculty of Dental Medicine of the St Joseph University of Beirut ā Lebanon.
He is a diplomate of the International Congress of Oral Implantology ICOI and an ICOI ambassador and the ICOI international Vice President for Lebanon.
He is an Active member of the International piezosurgery network IPN and of the International Piezoelectric surgery Academy IPA. His professional practice is limited, since 1996, to Oral Surgery and Oral Implantology.
Dr Makary has lectured on oral implantology in numerous local and international congresses. He has several publications in the field of oral surgery and oral implantology.
