This programme aims to demystify the techniques and indications for using internal sinus lifts and lateral window sinus grafts. This course is aimed at practitioners who have had some implantology experience and wish to further their knowledge and hands-on experience in Sinus Augmentation.
Course participants will learn the practical skills necessary to augment bone in the maxillary sinuses, and the research underpinning these procedures, allowing. them to appropriately prescribe and perform these procedures for patients.
Aims and objectives:
1 Identify clinical and anatomical indications for sinus augmentation.
2 To compare and contrast the differences between piezo and conventional techniques for the lateral sinus window.
3 To carry out the internal and external sinus augmentation techniques.
4 To compare clinical outcomes and examine sinus complications.
Dr. Fazeela Khan Osborne
Founder of One to One Implant Education
Dr. Khan Osborne is the founding clinician of the FACE implant multi- disciplinary team both on the surgical and restorative side, for One To One Implant Education Clinic based in Harley Street, London.
After qualification, Fazeela held several surgical posts in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, before studying for a MSc in Restorative Dentistry/ Gerodontics which she received with Distinction.
She has always had a passion and special interest in Implant Dentistry: both on the surgical and restorative full arch rehabilitation of the maxilla, and has been involved in developing treatment modalities for Peri-implantitits within clinical practice.
She is the Course Lead for PG Diploma In Implant Dentistry for One To One Education Programme and smile fast.
A former Lead Tutor and Assessor for the Royal College of Surgeons, (Diploma In Implant Dentistry) and accredited Mentor; she lectures worldwide on Implant Dentistry and is an active member of the ADI, BAAD,ICOI. with Prof. Marcus Abboud on the Post-graduate Implant Programme at Stonybrook University (USA) running a joint programme in Muco-gingival surgery for Implant Dentistry with Prof Cristian Dinu (Romania); and also twinning the Advanced Implant Dentistry programme with Dr Howie Gluckman in Cape town, (South Africa). She lives in West london with her 2 children.

Extensively lectures in several national and international congresses of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Oral Implantology.
Research member and coordinator in 15 european and national scientific projects. Received several prizes in national and international scientific events.
Author and co-author of more than 80 papers in national and international journals. Co-author of 8 speciality books.
Specific focus in reconstructive microsurgery, plastic and reconstructive surgery, craniofacial trauma and malformations, salivary glands pathology and advanced oral implantology and periodontology.
